"All I ever wanted to do was dance."
Trixie was once a featured performer at Sparky's Maniac Midway, a carnival that frequented the southern United States in the late 2010s. As the Midway's Clown Ballerina, Trixie delighted audiences with her pratfalls and clumsy choreography. Before she discovered the Maniac Midway, she yearned to be a ballerina dancing on a grand stage. Her lack of poise and discipline didn't get her far, though. "There's always the circus," Trixie thought when she first auditioned for Sparky's. Surprisingly, she found a spot in the clown troupe, where her gaucherie was welcomed and even encouraged. Trixie befriended her fellow clowns, all misfits that tried to make it big in show business with varying levels of success. Trixie never thought in a million years that she'd become a carny, but at Sparky's, she found the happiness she desperately sought.
One autumn night, while the Midway was setting up shop in Tampa, Florida, Trixie and her fellow clowns decided to take a joyride through the nearby swampy Florida marshland. One wrong swerve, and their clown car careened off the road, crashing into one of the cabins at Camp D.O.A., a summer camp that had recently closed for the season. The camp played host to a family of murderous mutants and hillbillies during the off-season. They did not take kindly to trespassers or lollygaggers. Trixie and her fellow clowns were no exception.
As the clown troupe fought their way out of the wreckage, Camp D.O.A.'s bloodthirsty residents emerged from the woods and gruesomely made meals of them. The next thing Trixie knew, she awoke as something not human, something that craved blood and guts rather than popcorn and cotton candy. A zombie!
Trixie did not want to become a zombie. As she lay on the forest floor, she tried to remember everything she could about her past before her memories faded away. But as she slowly succumbed to her newborn hunger for flesh and blood, Trixie morphed into a soulless husk that just so happened to be wearing greasepaint. The goofy and whimsical clown ballerina had become someone more lethal and dangerous.

Sparky smelled a new business opportunity as rancid as the dead flesh rotting on his clowns. Taking advantage of the increase in guests during the Halloween season, he transformed the Midway's beloved bumper cars attraction into CRASH TEST CLOWNS, giving his clowns an opportunity to hunt for prey while keeping his guests entertained. It was a win-win for everyone!
Trixie barely remembers who she used to be. All she knows now is blood and guts.
Yet even in her newly zombified state, she hasn't forgotten to give the crowd a show they'll remember forever...
...even in their last moments!
