Hello! My name is Katy, and welcome to Haunt Darling, my first personal website.
With my growing disdain for social media, I've yearned for the old days of the Internet, when one could be true to themselves without placating an algorithm or putting on an act for views and likes. Nothing had a homogenized look. People let their own personal aesthetics and personalities shine through their sites. The Internet actually used to be fun!
I want to go back to those times - and many others do! Which is why I've created Haunt Darling, so that I can share memories, my personal works, and plenty more with reckless, colorful, and oftentimes gaudy abandon. I've chosen to design my site similar to the old Web - that is, late 90s/early 2000s - as a tribute to all the sites that captured my attention when I was young.
Please note that this site is a huge work in progress. Hopefully one day this will all look prettier! But I hope you enjoy what's in store for you.
