Auditioning

• Keep an eye on your intended haunt's social media pages or Auditions website for audition information. Each haunt has its own audition process, from video submission to in-person auditioning. Some haunts may not require an audition at all. In that case you'd just show up to an interest meeting.
• If your haunt of interest requires an improvisational audition, remember this sage piece of advice I received when I first auditioned for a theme park Halloween event: "If you don't feel stupid, you're not doing it right!" Scareacting is all about getting out of your comfort zone and feeling good about it. It's the ultimate confidence booster!
• Some haunts typecast, i.e. seeking specific body types and looks. If you aren't cast, don't let this discourage you from trying again the following year.
